(and later today, I am posting the RAK winners of the WCMD, sorry to keep you waiting guys!!)

To get your direct link, on your blog click on the title of your blog post about this weeks SPCC and copy the URL from the text box at the top of your browser. It should be your blog address followed by a bunch of extra information. To copy the URL, highlight the long address and press Control (CTRL) + C on your keyboard. Then on the SPCC blog, go to Mr. Linky and type your name. Put your cursor where it says URL and then hit CTRL + V. Now you should have the direct link. Then submit it!
For example:

NO =regular link: http://thescrapmaster.blogspot.com

YES =Direct link: http://thescrapmaster.blogspot.com/2009/07/spcc-5-happy-bird-card.html

If you have a problem with Mister Linky, simply add your link to the comments section.

If you don't have a blog, email me a photo of your project at scrapmastersparadise@yahoo.com with your name, and I will get your project added.

Finally Friday

Hey everyone!! Happy Friday :O)

Today's Finally Friday host is our very own, SP Diva Emily!!! She put together a great challenge for you so give her a big welcome!!!

Hey everyone....happy Friday! And...an early Happy Halloween to you! Just a quick note...tomorrow when you are going through your candy (or your kid's candy), be sure to set aside all of the Kit Kats and send them to me! Thanks! Seriously...do it! I will be forever grateful.
Anyway...on to the real reason you all are here....IT'S FINALLY FRIDAY! And I am hosting this week. Me. Emily. One of the Diva's! (P.S. You still have until 10/31/2009 @ Midnight EST to submit your Diva application-get on it!)

Hey...that's me! Here is a bit more about me in case you are interested: I love lazy days off, things and people that can make me laugh, vanilla scones from Starbucks, reading, talking and always asking way too many questions, and scrapbooking. I am a Californian, born and raised and it would take something short of a miracle to get me to leave. I absolutely adore my cat and can't imagine life without him. I love reading blogs and finding new ways to be creative. If you are looking for something fun, wacky, creative, cute, or anything else stop by my blog and say hi!

It was my birthday last week and I found inspiration for this week's FINALLY FRIDAY challenge from a card I received.

YOUR CHALLENGE: Use the picture of the card below and create a layout, card, or other altered project. Find the inspiration for your project in the color combo, design, or whatever other creative element that jumps from the picture into your head.

Here is my example. It is a page that will be going in a mini album that I have been working on:

Supplies used: Melisa Frances bingo card book, House of 3 digital ticket, Cosmo Cricket Earth Love Elements, Cosmo Cricket Earth Love Ready Set Chipboard, Bazzill Basics cardstock, ColorBox Cat's Eye chalk ink in Chestnut Roan, Basic Grey Nook & Pantry Flour Sack patterned paper, BoBunny Kitchen Spice Nutmeg patterned paper, Making Memories Tiny Alpha Stickers, Making Memories Flea Market Word Fetti Stickers

I hope you have fun with this week's challenge! Can't wait to see what everyone comes up with!

WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE A FINALLY FRIDAY HOST???? Well you could be next! Simply play along with our weekly SPCC challenges and our Finally Friday challenges and Sam might just ask you to be a host!! She has been asking some of our most active participants... so keep playing along. Show us your stuff!

Finally Friday

Happy Friday everyone!!! Today, our lovely SP Diva Stephanie has helped me out by getting our Finally Friday post ready to go!

It's Finally Friday here at SPCC! Yeah!!! Happy Friday to all our wonderful scrap girls! We have a wonderful hostess this week and I want to give her a big warm welcome! Carolyn comes to us from Indiana and loves a challenge! Carolyn joined us on our blog hop recently and loves her Cricut Expression! She has some wonderful creations on her blog, so stop by sometime soon! Check out Carolyn's blog at http://scrappinismything.blogspot.com/. Let's get to know Carolyn:

CAROLYN
Hello, everyone...I'm am so excited to be asked to host this week. My first time ever doing this...My name is Carolyn, I am married to my high school flame, Philip. I have 5 kidos Shawn 26, (daddy to Oz Mason my first grandbaby), Kari 21 (senior at Purdue University), Kendall 14 (my angel in heaven, passed away Aug. 2006 from leukemia), Benjamin 13 (is one of 12 8th graders in high school marching band), Tanner 11 (is my sports kid who loves soccer). We have 4 bunnies too...We live in the small town of Patronville, its really just a caution light at a intersection in southwestern Indiana. I'm a stay at home mom, that meets with 2 girlfriends every Friday (only when school is in session) to scrap or shop, also a soccer mom. I got started scrapbooking with my daughter Kendall, we did scrapbooking for 4H. The first year we did it she got Reserve Grand Champion. That was about 6 years ago, but I have always been crafty. I use to decorate cakes for fun when I was in high school. I now make my own Christmas cards every year. Started taking card classes at local scrapbooking store 3 years ago, stamp of the month. Bought a few stamps and was hooked. I started my blog so I would have a place to share my work. Thanks everyone for being so kind...

Carolyn's Finally Friday Challenge
Your challenge is to emboss and layer. When you emboss it really makes dimension on your project. Layering makes your images not look so flat to your paper. Use foam squares or 3D glue dots, whatever you have that makes image stand off paper. And don't forget to have fun...

Carolyn made this beautiful card:
